On Sunday, 26 July 2015, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on Gimnazijos street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Opel Astra (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.65‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
