On Monday, 29 July 2024, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kaunas, on Gimnazijos street near No. 2, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat Ibiza and a Renault Express. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
