On Monday, 24 August 2015, in the afternoon at 14:45, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 172.93), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MTZ Belarus-920.3 and a Mazda 6. Two people were injured — the 65-year-old driver of the MTZ (hospitalized) and a 83-year-old passenger of the Mazda (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the MTZ (45 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
