On Tuesday, 20 October 2015, in the morning at 7:50, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 22.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Master 125.35 registered in Poland and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
