Opel Meriva driver flees after hitting a pedestrian on Odminių g., Vilnius
On Wednesday, 4 November 2015, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Vilnius, on Odminių street near No. 3, an Opel Meriva hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 45-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Opel (30 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
