On Monday, 1 August 2016, in the morning at 9:50, in Kauno city municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 3.72), a Renault Magnum 480 registered in Russia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Renault (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
