On Monday, 27 February 2017, in the evening at 22:37, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 6), an Opel Vivaro hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
