On Tuesday, 4 April 2017, in the evening at 22:10, in Kaunas, on Perkūno alley near No. 5, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xantia and an Opel Vectra Station Wagon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Citroen (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
