On Tuesday, 25 April 2017, in the evening at 17:10, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 12.20), a Seat Ibiza hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Seat (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
