On Wednesday, 25 October 2017, in the morning at around 8:00, in Klaipėda, on Kauno street near No. 33, a Ford Focus hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 36-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Ford (50 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
