On Thursday, 22 February 2018, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 46), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Fiat Ducato and a Schmitz registered in Belarus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Schmitz (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
