On Wednesday, 2 May 2018, in the morning at 10:18, in Kauno district municipality, Kumpių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 104.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Ford (11 years of driving experience), who violated traffic rules on motorways. All drivers were sober.
