On Tuesday, 23 October 2018, at night at 2:10, in Šilalės district municipality, Košių II village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 210.45), an Opel Zafira hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Opel (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
