On Monday, 29 October 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Tvirtovės al., at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the BMW (51 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
