On Wednesday, 9 January 2019, in the morning at 9:50, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 22), a MAN TGA 18.430 registered in Poland hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the MAN (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
