On Saturday, 11 May 2019, in the afternoon at 15:49, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 24), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the BMW (29 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (1.87‰ blood alcohol).
