On Tuesday, 21 May 2019, at night at 0:20, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with S. Žukausko street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xsara and a BMW 525 D. Two people were injured — a 21-year-old passenger of the Citroen (treated as an outpatient) and a 19-year-old passenger of the BMW (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Citroen (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
