On Wednesday, 24 September 2014, in the afternoon at 16:20, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with S. Žukausko street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW 535 D, a Mitsubishi Outlander and a Volkswagen Jetta. One person was injured — the 34-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober.
