On Saturday, 12 December 2015, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Birželio 23-iosios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki Aerio and a Saab. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Suzuki (25 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
