On Tuesday, 4 June 2019, in the afternoon at 16:45, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 104.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D, a BMW, a Mercury and a BMW X5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW 320D (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
