On Monday, 7 October 2019, in the morning at around 8:00, in Prienų district municipality, Grigaliūnų village, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 32), a DAF FT XF105.460 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the DAF (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
