On Saturday, 22 August 2020, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Birželio 23-iosios street, at a pedestrian crossing, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and a Toyota Corolla. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 13-year-old cyclist, who failed to obey traffic-control signals. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
