On Monday, 19 October 2020, in the evening at 17:25, in Šilalės district municipality, Kuodaičių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 239.50), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia registered in Germany and a Bazaltas. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Skoda (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
