On Sunday, 8 August 2021, in the afternoon at 14:35, in Šilalės district municipality, Bardžių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 210.98), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Land Rover and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Land Rover (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
