On Saturday, 28 May 2022, at night at 4:50, in Šilalės district municipality, Klabų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 211), a BMW 530 D hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
