Unlicensed Opel driver and two other cars crash at Geležinio Vilko street and Molėtų highway, Vilnius
On Friday, 3 September 2021, in the evening at 19:58, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street, at the junction with Molėtų highway, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra, a Nissan and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
