On Monday, 13 December 2021, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 106), a BMW 3ER Reihe hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
