On Saturday, 1 October 2022, in the morning at 6:12, in Elektrėnų municipality, Kakliniškių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 48), a BMW 118D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
