On Saturday, 27 July 2024, at night at 23:38, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Čelkiai–Jūžintai–Užpaliai regional road (kilometre 6.20), a Can-Am Outlander-800 ran off the road. One person was injured — the 37-year-old driver of the Can-Am (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Can-Am (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.18‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
