On Monday, 11 August 2025, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Vilnius, on Kalvarijų street, a e-scooter hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 85-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of a e-scooter, who failed to keep a safe distance.
