Drunk Nissan driver and two other cars crash at Dariaus ir Girėno and Kvėdarnos streets, Šilalė
On Friday, 18 January 2013, in the evening at 21:10, in Šilalės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with Kvėdarnos street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Sunny, a Volkswagen Passat and a Toyota Tundra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Nissan, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.66‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
