Volkswagen Golf hits an obstacle at Konstitucijos avenue and T. Narbuto street, Vilnius

On Sunday, 3 February 2013, at night at 1:44, in Vilnius, on Konstitucijos avenue, at the junction with T. Narbuto street, a Volkswagen Golf hit an obstacle. Two people were injured — a 24-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient) and a 23-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
