Drunk, unlicensed Volkswagen Passat driver runs off the road in Pagrynių village
On Wednesday, 3 April 2013, in the evening at 22:25, in Šilutės district municipality, Pagrynių village, on Šilutės street, at the junction with Gamtos street, a Volkswagen Passat registered in Great Britain ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.91‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
