Audi and two other cars crash on Nemenčinės highway, Vilnius

On Friday, 10 May 2013, in the evening at 19:14, in Vilnius, on Nemenčinės highway, at the junction with Antavilių Sodų 9-oji street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80, an Audi A4 Avant and a BMW 320. One person was injured — a 66-year-old passenger of the Audi 80 (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Audi 80 (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
