On Friday, 12 July 2013, in the afternoon at 11:53, in Šiauliai, on Pramonės street, at the junction with Metalistų street, at a pedestrian crossing, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot JET Force 50 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (0.97‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
