Volkswagen Golf hits a drunk pedestrian on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Sunday, 15 September 2013, in the evening at 20:49, in Vilniaus city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 15.40), a Volkswagen Golf hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 64-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by a 64-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway in a built-up area outside a crossing where there is a median strip. He was drunk (1.70‰ blood alcohol).
