Audi and three other cars crash on Pramonės street, Vilnius
On Friday, 27 December 2013, in the afternoon at 16:19, in Vilnius, on Pramonės street, a head-on collision while overtaking occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80, a Ford Sierra, a Nissan Almera and a Mercedes-Benz 814. Two people died — the 19-year-old driver of the Audi (was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 19-year-old passenger of the Audi (later died from the injuries, was not wearing a seatbelt). Three people were injured — the 51-year-old driver of the Nissan (treated as an outpatient), a 49-year-old passenger of the Nissan (hospitalized) and a 19-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. All drivers were sober.
