Drunk driver's Volkswagen Passat rolls over on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva road
On Monday, 14 April 2014, at night at 1:38, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road (kilometre 22.30), a Volkswagen Passat rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.40‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
