Škoda Superb runs off the road on the Laukuva–Šilalė road

On Sunday, 15 June 2014, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Šilalės district municipality, Šiauduvos village, on the Laukuva–Šilalė national road (kilometre 4.10), a Škoda Superb ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Škoda (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
