On Monday, 14 July 2014, in the evening at 18:45, in Šilutės district municipality, on Melioratorių alley near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Honda HR-V and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Honda (37 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
