On Monday, 29 September 2014, in the evening at 18:56, in Vilniaus district municipality, Kuprioniškių village, on Ilgoji street near No. 48, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He refused a sobriety test and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
