Drunk, unlicensed driver runs off the road at J. Kubiliaus and Lakūnų streets, Vilnius
On Wednesday, 11 February 2015, in the afternoon at 13:28, in Vilnius, on J. Kubiliaus street, at the junction with Lakūnų street, an Alfa Romeo GTV ran off the road. One person was injured — the 22-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo, who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs. He was drunk (1.80‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
