On Monday, 16 February 2015, in the evening at 22:15, in Šiauliai, on M. K. Čiurlionio street near No. 16, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan and a Renault Scenic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Opel (2 years of driving experience). He was drunk (1.02‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
