On Saturday, 2 May 2015, at night at 23:33, in Kelmės district municipality, Kukečių village, on the Kelmė–Noreišiai–Bubiai regional road (kilometre 6.52), a Mitsubishi Galant ran off the road. Four people were injured — the 24-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient), a 21-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient), a 25-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 23-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
