Drunk Renault driver hits a parked Rover and flees on the Molėtai–Pabradė road
On Thursday, 2 July 2015, in the evening at 17:30, in Molėtų district municipality, Arnionių II village, on the Molėtai–Pabradė national road (kilometre 33), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and a Rover 400. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Renault (24 years of driving experience). He was drunk (1.41‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
