On Saturday, 8 August 2015, in the afternoon at 11:32, in Biržų district municipality, Anglininkų village, on Šilo street, a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 26-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.58‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
