On Thursday, 10 September 2015, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with S. Žukausko street, an Opel Astra hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Opel (45 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
