On Wednesday, 21 June 2017, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Birželio 23-iosios street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Saxo and a Volkswagen Transporter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Citroen (3 years of driving experience). He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
