Fiat Ducato rolls over on the Akmenė–Klyšiai–Dainoriai road

On Saturday, 31 October 2015, at night at 23:18, in Akmenės district municipality, on the Akmenė–Klyšiai–Dainoriai regional road (kilometre 7.30), a Fiat Ducato rolled over. Two people were injured — a 28-year-old passenger of the Fiat (treated as an outpatient) and a 26-year-old passenger of the Fiat (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Fiat (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
