Drunk Opel Astra driver hits an obstacle on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė road
On Monday, 14 March 2016, in the evening at 20:50, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė national road (kilometre 16.50), an Opel Astra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Opel (27 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.90‰ blood alcohol).
